Right at the side of the road not more than 10 ft away was a Roadrunner!!!!! It looked at me!
I thought they were just things of myths and legends, and well, American cartoons, I must have such a strong emotional response due the the hours of my misspent youth watching that darned coyote not catch the little guy. Anyway, back to reality, it didn't run, but it did cross the road after we drove away, and it dropped it's tail and moved very fast, which is kinda funny as in the cartoons he raised his tail as he ran, just shows you should not base your education of the Colonies on excellent mindless entertainment.
