Port Townsend

something I find a little exciting about Port Townsend, a very quaint Victorian town on the Olympic Peninsula, yeah those are the Olympic Mountains in the background, looking due East with the vast Pacific Ocean beyond them, is that the movie 'An Officer and a Gentleman' with Richard Gere was made here, and those chimneys in the pic, is the paper factory where they filmed the closing scenes, the motel they stayed in is just behind me. Anyway, a mild coincidence is that I went to see that movie on my first date with Simon in 1983, and during my stay at Artfest it will be our 21st Anniversary, my room in the Dorms at Artfest is Room 21, and the best bit, is that my gorgeous, generous, smart and funny dear Husband is even better than Richard Gere! Enough gibbering, it's all true though...
